PIU Annual Board Meeting Completed

The PIU Annual Board Meeting took place this last week, February 24-26. Our seven board members come from 4 different countries and represent several different organizations. On the back row L to R is David Owen (PIU President), Martin Auch, Harald Gorges, Bill Schuit (Chairman) and Howard Merrell. In the front row, Mary Johnson, Vincent Parren and Marcellus Ngiraingas. A new member, David Mayer, was added to the Board. He will begin service on July 1, 2010.
WoW! Congratulations to Word of the Week winner: Jake James! His original sentence of: “I decelerated skipping class after I got caught” was the winning entry this week. He received a gift certificate to McDonald’s and had his name highlighted in the library. Congratulations, also, to our recent winner Mamu! His faithful entries have boosted his chances of winning the prize every week. Keep up the good work!
