2016 Graduation Activities

Pacific Islands University held 2016 Graduation activities on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30. The Baccalaureate Service was held on Friday, April 29  at the Onnuri Church in Mangilao.  The Graduation Ceremony was held on Saturday, April 30  at the Abundant Life Church in Dededo.

The 2016 graduates included four who received an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies degree, two received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree, and one received a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. The graduates received their diplomas from Dr. David Owen, President of PIU. They were congratulated by PIU trustees, other members of the PIU Administrative Council, the PIU faculty, friends of PIU, and the families and friends of the graduates.

This year’s Commencement Address was given by the Honorable Frances Tydingco-Gatewood, Chief Judge of the US District Court of Guam.
