Immediate Crucial Needs:
  • CFO/COO
    • Responsibilities: Management of the operational and fiscal activities of the university operations. The CFO/COO would provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the college, plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the university, supervise departmental staff in accordance with university policies and procedures, and is responsible for training and coaching departmental employees.

Also Needed:
  • Accountant - part time
    • Responsibilities: Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures
  • Media & Marketing personnel
  • Resident Counselor, certified in supervising student interns
  • Undergraduate Professors of Education, Social Studies, Recreational Ministry (doctorate level preferred, masters degree required)
  • Seminary professors in theology, New Testament, missiology, and counseling (doctorate required)

PIU is working hard to move toward salaried positions but at are not currently in a position to "hire" most of our faculty and staff. The majority of those who work at PIU are in full time Christian service and have raised their own support as missionaries or have volunteered their time in order to serve here. This is because our college's vision from the start has been centered around offering a quality, transformational, accessible college education with a biblical world view to people in the Pacific region who might not otherwise be able to afford one.
