K2 RETREAT 2020

Koinonia “Fellowship” in Greek

1 Cor. 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his son, Jesus Christ our Lord and also fellowship with one another.

Phil. 2:1 Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort provided by love, any fellowship in the Spirit, an affection or mercy,

K2 (Koinonia squared) is an annual retreat weekend in which our students were able to pause from the craziness of everyday life and focus on God and on fellowship with others. This is a time of worship, a time to focus on what God has in store for each of their lives, and a time to share in community experiences.

Faculty and staff participated by providing some meals and participated in each worship session that took place all weekend. Some faculty members stay overnight to partake in the sleepless nights and late-night runs to get snacks.

This year we had the privilege of experiencing 2 students get baptized. The baptism made this K2 retreat an unforgettable experience.
